Popular Tik Tok star, Khaby Lame, known as the world’s most followed tik toker, has been deported from the United States after being arrested by the U.S immigration authorities.

KhabyLame, a 25 year old Italian-Senegalese influencer, who flaunts over 160 million TikTok followers was detained by the U.S immigration and Customs Enforcement ( I.C.E ) on June 6, 2025, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

As reported by I.C.E, Khaby Lame had overstayed the terms of his visa after entering the country on April 30, 2025. He was granted a voluntary departure order, allowing him to leave the U.S without facing a formal removal process. 

He was found to be in violation of his visa terms and has exited the country in compliance with a voluntary departure order, stated by I.C.E. Although Lame has not issued an official public statement regarding the incident, he later took instagram where he has over 80 million followers, to share an update on his location.

In a post on his instagram story, he just wrote “ São Paulo, Brasil “, suggesting he had travelled to the South-American country following his departure from the U.S. The news of his deportation has since gone viral, triggering a lot of responses and reactions across social media.

Khaby Lame rose to fame through his viral TikTok videos, where he amusingly responds to overly complicated life hacks with silent, expressive gestures. Despite the controversy, fans worldwide continue to follow his journey.
